Ok I have very dark long arm hair, and it seems so noticeable. I want to know how bad shaving your arms really is. I Would love some options on how to reduce hair growth or how to remove hair for good because I am not motivated to shave as I refuse to shave in winter months. I will go months without shaving in winter😁

I shave my arms too. Shaving arms is not a bad thing, it actually makes you look so much better and neater.

I would invest on an epilator. It's fast and easy. It might hurt the first couple of times but it's worth it.

Have you tried waxing?

I shave my arms all the time. It really turns into a routine after a while. I like how much better they look with bracelets. 😊

I use pre waxed strips.

Wax off or you can just shave but at first the hairs will grow back hard so you have to keep shaving

I have long, dark arm hair too and I shaved mine a few years back. Since its grown back, it's been a lot darker and a lot more noticeable, so unless you want to keep it up as a routine, I wouldn't suggest it.

I hate body hair so I force myself to shave pretty much every day (oh the joys of being spanish - we're hairy lol).. I shave my arms as well obviously and they're very dark as well, not thick but dark...and shaving keeps it smooth but the hair follicle still shows so there's black dots everywhere which sucks! lol I'm following for more advice

R.T you should wax the dots would be gone and you save time and money cus you would only need waxing about twice per month

You could either shave or wax like the girls mentioned. I started shaving when I was a freshman in high school (25 now) and had never had a problem. I also don't really shave in the winter, I'm all about long sleeves so I don't care. And it's really not such a big deal. You just shave while you in the shower :)

I once shaved my armhair too. I also have got dark arm hair, so I thought why not shave it or cut it off permanently? So, I did that, but then it grew back and the result of it was that it was just a profit of a week or two until the new hair begins to grow. And guess what? The newcoming hair got only thicker and darker and more. So I quit doing that and I just let it be like it is. I don't really care about it anymore. But if it really is frustrating you time on time, then you could let your arms laser, that means there will no longer be hair growth in your arms. You should check out the options you got. (By the way, your arm skin needs protection to provide dirt and impurities to come at your arm. Just like you have lashes to protect your eyeballs!)

Use a hair inhibiting cream with any method you prefer whether it be shaving, waxing or a depilatory cream this will slow down your hair growth so you don't have to do any as often and hair is finer.

You could also look into laser hair removal or try an at-home machine like I did, I like the Remington I-light pro which works similar to the laser hair removal but isn't quite as strong so more sessions are needed but I did get results. The hairs on my legs grow back slow the hair itself is thinner, the density is sparse and some parts the hairs haven't grown back whatsoever. Shaving is easier and waxing doesn't hurt nearly as much either
