How to stop flipped ends?

Whenever I straightened my hair my ends are straight. But as the day goes on my ends start to flip. Does anyone know how I can stop this and keep my ends straight ALL day?

Slightly turn your straightener in towards the ends while straightening it.

Iv always curled mine under towards my chin, instead of doing it bang straight. It could just be the length of your hair though, if it just sits on your shoulders then it will always happen, it needs to be a good 2 or 3 inches past your shoulders. Also shirts with collars dont help, i had long hair and had this problem all through school and i had hair to my boobs, my shorter layers would always go crazy. Also the reason i wear plain clothes to work instead of the polo shirt they gave me.
