I think the reason it's gone red is because it wasn't bleached and toned to white, so it wouldn't go the true dye colour as adding more orange to pink makes red. I'd let it fade.

Yeah it was supposed to be bleached to a soft yellow then tones to a neutral color THEN add the pink.
When you put pink over orange you can end up with a reddish salmon color if it bothers you then just try to use a color stripper or just let it wash out and then rebleach your hair if you still want to go pink
