Ohh. I love that tessandra. I'm pretty alternative in my makeup as well. I'd recommend lots of black eyeliner (wings and eye shadow under the eyes). Make her foundation about a shade lighter than her actually skin. This will make her face look a bit paler. Also, I love alternative makeup when the eyebrows are dark and wispy (if that makes any sense). I know you said don't say black lips but I do have to say that the color can really make the look pop. If you and/or your friend aren't comfortable with black lips than a dark, bold lippie will do the trick (Rimmel London has some great ones). Hope this helps and have fun! If your willing, I'd love to see the final results. Maybe do a MOTD or comment on my page? I love seeing other people's work, especially when I can relate to the style!

Maybe think outside the box-- try shades other than black! A pewter smoky eye with a hint of shimmer is dark but unexpectedly pretty. Also, try chocolate, plum, navy, and hunter green cream shadows with shimmer. For lips, pat on a tinted lip balm. When I think of goth I think of focus on the eyes :) hope this helps!
