I have like a reddish brown skin tone. And I was just wondering if any body knows of any setting powder that would be best for. oh and my skin type is dry /normal.

Mac Studio Careblend Powder is a soft, creamy powder targeted to dry skin. It offers a little more coverage than the standard setting powder but less than a powder foundation. Its in a compact so you can take it on the go.

IMAN cosmetics translucent setting powders are great, I use them on my clients.

Marleen do you have any of those powders if so what do you think about them?. Jackie speaks highly of them on thread's and was suggesting I try them as well. :)

I love it cosmetics pressed pore less primer! It's so velvety smooth on the skin

Alma, I don't own any yet. I did test them out a few times in the store. I normally don't wear powder, but because it was for dry skin, I was curious. It was really soft and almost creamy feeling. Unlike any other powders I've ever felt. It has that creamy consistency so it adhered to the skin well. I still may get it. But I use Mally Face Defender to mattify and blur pores on my nose and to blur lines on my forehead. I set my foundation with setting spray then use my Defender. I only use the setting spray to add a little dewiness to my foundation. I don't have a problem with makeup fading.
