So I got a gift voucher for Christmas and I was wondering what is the best high end primer. I need something that will honestly make my foundation last almost all day because I feel like within a few hours my foundation has faded away and it just dosnt look good to when I first applied it. I have tried the benefit porefessional and I liked it to an extent so if there are any other recommendations I'll take them!. Please leave me the name of the primer as well as what it dose to your skin/foundation. Thanks ladies :)

Hourglass. Expensive but it rocks. Only bad thing is that it broke me out, but I will still sometimes use it just because it works so good. They have travel sizes (which last forever) that don't cost very much to try it out.

I really like makeup forever HD primer. I like the feeling of it on my skin and it's not sticky or slick. Which primers usually bother me and my skin. But this one is really light but does so much. I suggest trying it out first if you can :)

I second the Hourglass mineral veil primer. I have oily combination skin and this primer works wonders for my skin. I don't end up looking like a disco ball thanks to this and if I have worn it for over 8 hours, then I would have to just touch up my t zone which I don't mind at all. It has never broken me out and I've been using it for over 2 years now.

I tried a sample of the Becca Ever Matte Poreless priming perfector and it was AMAZING, had to be the only one I used that made my makeup stay on longer, most primers only make application smoother from my experience, at least on my skin

I agree with hourglass but only if you have combo/normal to oily skin - if you have dry skin it's not the best - but it's great for more oily skin types for its matte finish.

I highly recommend the Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer. I bought it as a Christmas gift to myself and it is now my holy grail primer. I have normal to oily skin with large/open pores on my cheeks and this primer keeps me matte longer, my foundation stays on for so long, and it fills my pores so foundation doesn't sink into and exaggerate them. I just got the travel size and a little goes a long way so I highly suggest getting that size (:

I have dry skin and didn't think I would like it since I only read most reviews from people who have oiler skin types who loved it.
Even if you are dry, you might love it like I did, my skin flakes most of the time because its so dry, but hourglass worked great for me minus the breakouts. Everyones skin is different though so I understand its not for everyone...

Personally, I prefer Smashbox. I've tried just about all of them, and they work like a charm ☺️

I have to agree about the hourglass primer, it's expensive, but I would spend more it's that good!

Out of all the primers I've tired, Marc Jacobs coconut face primer is my absolute favourite.

Marc Jacobs coconut one or the Becca illuminating one. They are both amazing.
