My friend just bought this really soft brush at sephora. It is battery operated. All she is using it for is to feel its softness. I want to know if this brush is worth it. (30$)

You should definitely try out a clarisonic. Quite pricey, but 100% worth it, my face has never been softer.

I agree with a Clarisonic. It transformed my skin, I've had it for 3 years now and will never go without one now. Its expensive but a great investment. Just a warning though, with similar dupe brushes out there like the one you posted, can actually be very damaging for your skin. The Clarisonic is unique because it gives sonic pulses that are safe for your skin, which other brushes do not have, which leads to damage to your skin.
The only problem with the Clarisonic is that you must find the proper brush head for your skin type (I use the delicate) if you don't then it could make your skin look worse. Also you can't press deep down (you don't need to) but some feel that it cleanses more when its really just going to irritate your skin; the Clarisonic will do the work for you, you don't need to press. And lastly, you have to use it consistently; people who argue that when they buy it and say it doesn't work, is usually just because they aren't using it everyday so they can't tell a difference in their skin, but if you want it to work you have to use it everyday. In the 3 years I've had it, I've only not used it like 2 times ever and my skin looked so bad! So now I never forget (I only use mine once @ night after first removing my makeup; I want it to deep clean my skin, not just try to remove my makeup).
If you are still skeptical, I just wanted to mention that I actually have saved money because I no longer spend my money on toners, exfoliators, spot treatments, etc...
