Hello all my gorgeous lovelies!! I am here once again to pick at your brains for some information. I am currently using my all time favorite HG foundation, the Estée Lauder double wear. Now as my acne has gotten better and I have gotten my oils under control I am a little less scared of looking dewy and would really like your input on how I may achieve a luminous finish from my foundation without switching foundation. Any info is sooooo very much appreciated. Perhaps a primer you would suggest? Or anything really I just want to try to go for a not so matte look. Thanks again ladies. ❤️ You ALL.

I really like the BareMineral PrimeTime primers - and they have a really great illuminating primer! I actually like to use it on its own on no makeup days to give my skin a beautiful glow :)
Also the IT cosmetics Hello light illuminater is awesome to add glow. it's so finely milled and so naturally that you can apply it all over with a light hand! it's an addictive product ;)

I'm considering mixing something in with my foundation and perhaps using a stippling brush instead of my beauty blender which is my go to

I have heard you can mix a drop of beauty oil into foundation to make it more luminous, but I haven't tried it, so I don't know how it works!

Oh I feel the same way!! It must be the change in season that's screwing with our skin!
I actually went and got my first proper facial today to try and get my skin in check!

I use this foundation as well and also have oily and acne prone skin, which is under great control with spironolactone. I really don't have great luck with primers or highlighters, etc., but feel my skin looks must luminous through almost over moisturizing it. I even use oils and a pretty heavy duty moisturizer and don't break out. This foundation is extremely matte and I'm not always sure I like it in the winter months when my skin is dry. It's almost an aging look for me. Coverage is amazing though! I do think your skin already looks awesome in your pics!!

Aw thanks so much @Maggie!! I mixed the lumi primer with my becca ultimate coverage cream tonight for date night with my boo. And I used a stippling brush instead of my beauty blender. The finish definitely came out different but I wanna play around with this mixing concept more
