I'm in love with the fact that I can have white or lilac and silver hair. How about anyone else? Have you had these colors? Did you like it or no?

Any kind of pastel hair is hard to keep up. Same goes for white or silver hair. You have to bleach your hair to white and it can severely damage your hair and it's a lot of upkeep. If you don't have light hair already you have to bleach it and that takes several bleaching sessions (if you do it all at once you'll fry your hair off) so if you're not willing to spend the money to get it professionally done and pay for the upkeep of it it's not worth it. All of those colors can't be achieved at home.

Really cool, but also really high-maintenance. worth it if you accept the commitment that comes with it :)

I love the lilac mixed with white. I would do a pastel if it wasn't for the damage and high maintenance

I love these colors, especially the silver and white. If you go to get any of these done, you'll probably want to look for a salon with olaplex to lower the damage of the bleaching process. Also, a purple shampoo might help maintain the color, like Clairol Shimmer Lights. It takes out brassiness, and if you leave it in for a while on hair that has had a lot of color lifted, it can deposit a violet tone, which would help!

I'm honestly obsessed with the concept of it but it would be a lot of work

Not if you use hair chalks. My hair is white with streaks of grey and for last Christmas I used hair chalks and went mad - purple & turquoise streaks washes out when you next shampoo your hair and so easy and cheap.

I don't agree that the colors can't be achieved at home. However, if you don't have much experience dyeing your own hair, a professional is your best bet. My biggest tip is don't expect your perfect color right away...trying to get it all done at once is damaging to your hair. Go little by little. Even with my naturally blonde hair I only do one process (bleach or color) per week till I get my desired shade. Good luck!

I like it. My hairs a very light ash blonde but I've had it white, silver and a lilac/lavender. I did it myself with help from my cousin, we've both gone to cosmetology, my natural color is black and I sorta just gradually went lighter taking breaks and using protein treatments.
I'd agree that silver was quite hard to keep but the lavender/lilac I used was actually a pain to get out when I wanted it to, it sorta stuck in my hair pretty good.
When you're blonde, I don't really have to wash my hair as often, I can get away with washing it every other week and it's fine.
