Been dying to try the Good Genes from all the good reviews I've been hearing about. But I kept procrastinating because of the $105 price tag for 1oz. But I bit the bullet and bought it. But, they has a special value pack with the sleeping oil. 1/2oz of the Good Genes & 1/2oz of the sleeping oil. This is a $105 value for $78. But the tag on the shelf said $75. So I asked the sales girl, and she said it was $78, but since I already 2 boxes in my basket, she was able to give it to me for $75 each (but she immediately removed the $75 tag from the shelf). So basically I got 1 Oz of each item for a total of $150 instead of the $210, I normally would have had to pay if I bought the regular 1oz of each separately. So, if for any reason I don't like it, I can still return the 2nd box without opening it. But if any of you are already a fan of these products, I would recommend getting 2 of the Power Couple Kits. You'll be paying $156 total, instead of $210 for 1oz of each.

Ugh I'm so jealous, we don't have her products in Italy. I wish I could try them at this much more affordable pricepoint... Thank you for the heads up, I'm sure a lot of us will appreciate it too!

I appreciate all the information and latest beauty news I see here. So, I love the opportunity to pay it back. I used it last night and so glad my skin didn't react negatively. I don't appreciate the scent of either product but if I see results, I'll get used to it. I'm going to start off with the Good Genes day & night for a week (the oil is recommended at night only), then I think I'm going to to switch to only nightly with the Good Genes after the 1st week. I'm doing this for 2 reasons. One, I don't want to go through this product too fast because of the price. And two, because I want to keep my morning routine to a minimum. Vitamin C serum, sunscreen, eye cream, primer & then makeup. I'm skipping my Vitamin C for the 1st week. But, I'm definitely not going to stop using it. It's too bad you don't have access to it. Maybe on ebay? I will often buy sample sizes or travel sizes off ebay before investing in full size products, esp. if the full size is super pricey.

I used the good genes religiously and it's honestly one of my favorites. I don't like too mention it too much - it's high priced and luxurious and most like skin care on a budget.

I regularly get chemical peels and so far this is the only one in my rotation that has shown me results similar to the chemical peel. (I get a 40% peel done). Between Paula's Choice, Pixi, and Mila Moursi this one takes the cake.

Mila Moursi is not suited at all for sensitive skin. It feels like a million hot needles being punctured in my skin with that burning sensation you get after applying lemon to a wound...
I'm particularly fond of Paula's choice for price range.. But I prefer her BHA for my acne and the Good Genes for skin texture. Every time I used good genes, I always got compliments on my skin. I do wish she would remove the scent.. Fragrance is not a friend for the skin in the long run and for such a strong treatment it'd be better to leave it out.
I bought the full size bottle using my VIB rogue discount previously and it lasted me so long. You truly need one pump.

I am interested in trying out Drunk Elephant once my no buy has ended.
They follow the same philosophy as Paula's Choice...
No irritants, no fragrance... No solvent Alcohols.. No comedogenic ingredients very Skin friendly.
I have heard that the concentrations of acids in the Drunk Elephant serum is much stronger than that of good genes which may not make it suitable for sensitive skin.

I've been looking at drunk elephant for a while... I'm just starting my no buy today so it is on my list...price points aren't bad so it's good to know that it's a good product from someone I can trust :-)

I also considered Drunk Elephant, but Sunday won out for me. I used it for the 2nd time this morning and noticed a little bit of skin peeling on the side of my face. Well, I guess it's working. It's not red or sensitive but I think I'm going to skip tonight. Just cleanse & lightly exfoliate with a mild scrub. The kit says to use the night oil first, wait 5 mins, then top off with the Good Genes (which is unconventional to use an oil before a serum or cream). It really is a POWER COUPLE. But, I will use the oil tonight. I may just have to use it at night only. Just going to listen to my skin and work out a routine.

Tina, Aside from the scent, I love the feel of the oil and how it sinks right in but still leaves your skin perfectly moisterized and plump.
