So I have giant pores, and I was hoping someone could tell me how to make my pores smaller.

I layer and layer primers on my face when my pores act up!! Any silicone based primer works really nicely to make a smoother-photoshoppey appearance :•) Lancôme La BasePro Pore Eraser is magical as well as the yves st Laurent blur perfecter, I use them together w/ smashbox water primer and it does wonders ((maybelline baby skin is also nice and much cheaper))

Skin care is the best way to deal with pores. What is your skincare routine like? Do you exfoliate?
The appearance of my pores really changes after I started to use a chemical exfoliation instead of a physical exfoliation.

I agree with Sabrina a chemical exfoliant is your best bet like an AHA or BHA.

An exfoliant is a good idea, if you can't afford one try unflavoured yoghurt, it's an amazing gentle exfoliating method. It works by dissolving the dead skin sells you can see a difference within the first use. What I do is I have the yoghurt on my face and steam my face at the same time for a few mins then just leave the yoghurt on for another few mins then wash it off with only water and apply jojoba oil. The next day my face looked so clean and glowy

I agree with the ladies above. Keep your pores clean. That way they will not appear so "open". However there is nothing you can actually do to change the size of your pores permanently.
These techniques might help reduce their appearance when putting your make up on

But remember all the tips the other ladies told you about exfoliating, because these makeup strategies might go too deep into the natural openings of your pores and make them more visible once the day is out.

Mariana said it! You can change the size of them! But I like Avons face Profector.
