I'm sure you look perfectly beautiful with a ponytail, we are always our own worst enemy and in our heard we tell us self that we look weird when reality is that we look just as beautiful as all the other girls we see with ponytails :)

For me - I have broad shoulders and it makes my head look a lot smaller than my body - I mean like a shrunken head it's pretty bad - and I usually hate how it looks when my hair is up - I find that volume is the key to rocking an up do - including a pony tail - so I saw tutorial on YouTube about creating a voluminous pony that involved splitting the pony in 2 and using little claw clips to add volume - I'm sure if you look voluminous pony you can find better ways to style it - otherwise maybe stuck with the half up and half down look instead.

Try putting your hair back and up high. Then push bobby pins in it to make it stand up. Add any thing else of your liking. Hope you like it.

I feel you. I eventually figured out that I look like an idiot with a low ponytail, but significantly better with a high one with some volume. Splitting it up into two ponies stacked vertically on top of each other sounds bizarre, but works surprisingly well.
