No matter how much I exfoliate I feel like my foundation ends up looking Cakey on my nose and in between my eyebrows and around them. I've tried various primers and exfoliating but nothing works. I feel like my skin will never look flawless. Does anyone know of any holy grails that could help me out?? Thanks in advance!

What products are you using and how are you applying them?

Sometimes I use my fingers in areas that don't blend well. It could be the little hairs around the eyebrows. I have tiny hairs all over my face which foundation builds up on. I take the pad of my 2nd & 3rd fingers and blend.

Different liquid foundations of Mac studio fix powder. Moisturizer, primer (benefit or smash box), foundation, setting spray. Sometimes I'll powder my face if I know I'll get a little oily. To apply foundation I'll used a sigma f80 or beauty blender.

@chris I've tried my fingers but I feel like I just smear the product around than blending it in :(

Do you buff with the F80 or stipple? I find I get more coverage and a smoother application if I stipple that brush rather than buff.

Do you use a beautyblender? I find that a beautyblender really helps smooth out your foundation.

It may sound weird and maybe it is but actually shave my whole face because a lot of the time, cakey makeup is because of peach fuzz. everybodys got it, some people shave it

This is a really weird tip! SHAVE OFF YOUR PEACH FUZZ! The additional hair can add to a cakey, clumpy foundation appearance!

I think you should use a damp beauty blender! And I had the same problem until I changed foundation and used a beauty blender!
