You should be able to do this with regular polish, though gel would definitely help it last longer.

Ok thanks!

Personally I think that would look best with acrylic, but I always think acrylics look the best.

Whilst that can be done with regular Polish, it can be done with both gel and acrylic. Gel generally uses your natural nails without any attachments whilst acrylic is often used to make them longer (as they add tips and then the acrylic on top). It depends what you want :) I always find gel looks better, I have biosculptures done every so often and I love it but I find acrylic can often look quite fake (even though it is, gel always looks more real to me)

Thanks for the tips, Maggie and Hannah! I am a little hesitant about doin acrylic, since it adds something onto the actual nail. I've been debating about gel though.

I have worn both gel and acrylic nails and for a person such as yourself who hasn't experienced fake nails I'd say stay safe and do gel. I have my own personal acrylic horror story and so do many people I know. This look is possible to recreate with regular nail polish but for a more flawless and longer-lasting look; gel is your best option.

Thanks Amaya! I figured gel would be the best option.
