So I literally have not wore make up in almost 3 months because it is soooooo hot here as soon as you open the door you get hit in the face by a heat wave I miss doing my makeup and tips or tricks for using a little bit of makeup and making it last because my face which is dry as a desert usually is soooooo sweaty now because of the heat it's bin so long I want to play in my makeup but at what cost I look like a melting wax figurine soon as I go out doors even my inglot liner which never transferred now just melts right off I hate the summer!!

Anything such as foundations, setting sprays or bb creams you suggest that can withstand heat and humidity

Are you using a primer and setting spray? Also try using waterproof makeup :)

My favorite setting spray is NYX Dewy finish. I don't exactly have a primer to recommend because I haven't found one I really like yet.

I use the Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer, Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Powder, and Urban Decay All Nighter to ensure all day wear without melting, fading, or sweating off. I also use IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream and Estée Lauder Double Wear, both are super long wearing.

Try baking your face. I basically live in the swamp and using a good primer and baking my face works wonders

Translucent loose powder and a good primer. I use a $3 elf loose powder and its the best one I've ever used. I live in florida, so I know exactly what you mean with all the humidity.

For primer I use hourglass veil primer and sometimes if I'm going to wear my makeup for a long time then I combine that with the becca primer. For setting powder I started using the l'oreal infallible powder. I started using it this weekend and I didn't have to touch up my makeup at all and I have extremely oily skin and live in Texas. For foundation I have always used the revlon colorstay for oily/combo skin

Thanks ladies for all the recommendations I had some mineral veil primer but used it all up and never bought more because of my dry skin but since it's definitely not dry right now I will have to repurchase

I lived in Louisiana for a few years and I had the same struggle. I found something that worked so well for me. I still use it. It's Laura Geller primer and her set n stay spray.

Where I live its almost always 120+ during the summer days.. my makeup never melts when my skin in exfoliated, moisterized and primed properly and ahead to applying my foundation.. if I'm spending my time out during the day I avoid lustery formulas and oily makeup. I don't always set my face except for my t zone and find makeup to stay in place. its better to go light on highlighters cuz they don't compliment the skin with the heat and and sweat..personally I use a lustry blusher or glittery one and thats about it cuz the less the layers the better and ill still b glowing that way.

I live in a really hot country too, and I use smashbox primer, with Laura Mercier Translucent loose powder and Urban Decay All Nighter. With a nars concealer - it's stays all day

Living up by Canada, I kind of get what you're saying. The cold and evaporated water usually gets my makeup running.

Products I use: CoverGirl Waterproof Masara, Revlon Photoready Translucent Face Powder,
and Nutregena Control Foundation (for spots)

These really help with holding back sweat or any form of water. In winter I also use a mineral-based primer.

I feel your struggle girl! I'm in South Carolina and I literally have had to drive back and forth in 101 degree weather with no ac 😫 I've been using MUFE ultra hd foundation stick, along with Mac mineralize compact cream foundation, nyx gotcha covered concealer (it's waterproof so it lasts through sweat pretty well 😜) and baking it all with the Ben nye neutral set powder. I have dry skin, so at first it all looks a bit heavy, but once I set it with Mac fix+, it stays looking natural all day!
