Hello my lovely beautylish beauties! I haven't been active for a few weeks here as I have been dealing with some health issues but I'm finally getting back to my normal self. Anywho my question is I received the Lorac Pro Palette as a gift & I don't own any other lorac products. Are lorac shadows pigmented? What are your thoughts on this palette? I personally love the shades, they are beautiful colors but I value all of your opinions and would love to hear your thoughts on this palette! Thank you in advance for the taking time to give me feedback!

Hi Tina, welcome back :) Its always nice to see people return!

I have the Lorac pro 1 and 2 and the Lorac mega pro 1 - I like the pro balette 1 and 2, they are nice eyeshadows, pigmented and easy to blend.
As with all palettes some colors are better then others - but all in all its a good palette :) I think you will be happy with it!

I love lorac eyeshadow palettes! But I have noticed that the colors do lean more cool than warm but I love the mix of shimmer and mattes.

The Lorac Pro palettes are my absolute favorites, I am in love with them. They're amazingly pigmented and blend so smoothly and easily. I have the 1, 2, Metal, and Matte and I have the new Pro 3 on my wish list (probably going to get it after my vacation).

Thank you ladies for responding I'm so happy to hear positive things! I'm always appreciative of any gift I recieve but it sounds like this one will be put to great use! By the sounds of it I may need to purchase more lorac palettes after I dig into this one! thank you all again!

I honestly don't love the lorac palettes. They don't have staying power and tend to look chalky and muddy.

I mean they're good palettes, but I hardly ever use mine. I think there are a lot of better palettes out there.

The Lorac palettes are the absolute best. I know lots of people tend to swirl the brush into their eyeshadow, but with the Lorac palettes you can't do that; it gets powder EVERYWHERE. It's pretty easy to learn to just dab the brush in, but that's the only problem I have with them. The shadows are soooo pigmented (almost too pigmented!) and buttery to blend. The first time I looked at it in Ulta I thought it was a cream palette. I could go on forever about all the good things about this, but I think I'll stop here. It's a million times better imo than the UD Naked palettes (and about $10 cheaper)

Thank you Rachel! I'm finally going to put it to use today! I'm sure I will come and comment how right you all were! I'm a huge urban decay fan, so I'm curious if I will share the same opinion as you after using my lorac palette today. thank you again for your input I really appreciate it!

I much prefer the naked palettes. KVD Chrysalis palette is one of my favorites. Any Vice palettes. Gwen Stefani palette. The Bon Bon palette by Too Faced. If you don't mind palettes that lean really warm, the Chocolate Bar palettes are great. I highly suggest them but rarely use them.

That is a huge reason I am attracted to Lorac palettes. They lean cool. The palette colors are perfect together, but the quality just isn't there for me. TBH I only use my Lorac for work because I don't want to waste my favorite palettes when I'm spending my day with 13 year olds. I got my sister both pro palettes for Christmas because they're good for beginners because they have such a wide variety of colors but are still kind of neutral. They're good palettes, but I think they are overhyped and not great palettes. I just think there are better palettes out there, and I really don't understand why people like them more than the Naked palettes. Yes, they are more pigmented. But pigmentation isn't everything.
