They used to be but they're a crappy company overall since they started just shoving stupid and too many collections in people's faces without even enough product and with crappy quality

it depends...their mascaras are awful but I really love their lip products, blushes and eyeshadows!

I really like MAC for lip products and at the minute I'm using a MAC foundation because it's about the best foundation I've found for my skin so far (I'm not thrilled with it and still looking for a better one). I do like MAC eyeshadows but I prefer Urban Decay. I've also used two MAC mascaras and liked them both although I don't remember which ones they were now. Nothing AMAZING but they were good.

Maybe its just me but I seem to think some products from MAC are worth it. I love the eyeshadows and lipsticks. And their foundation is the only one I found that matches my skin tone. You just have to see for yourself.

I think that if you wear a lot of make up and know a lot about its and can be sure you are getting the right colours then defiantly but if you are just starting with make up and don't really understand what things do its a little to much just to have a guess!!;)

I think it is. I love mac. Ari is right, you're not going to be able to make a real decision based on what people tell you, because just as many people can say yes as can say no. It only matters what you think.

Most of my makeup is from Mac do I have to say I live Mac but the thing about them coming out with lots of collections with not enough product is very true. That is why I stick with their permanent stuff

I really like the Mineralize Skin Finish. Just purchased the MAC Lipstick and Studio Fix Powder and Foundation. I like them so far but I'm still getting used to wearing them for the money that they are worth.. And how those shades look on me.

Their foundations are not very good. I've never tried their mascara, but their other eye makeup (eyeliner, eyeshadow, etc) is amazing. Their eyeshadow is the best if you're looking for bold colors. My favorite is their lipstick! It's wonderful!!

In my opinion no. There are a lot of other brands that I would rather spend my money on personally. I've broken out from their foundation a few times and the eye shadows I find to not live up to what I would expect but that's just me.

I love most things except the mascaras. I love the studio fix, skin finishes, blushes, paint pots, kohl eyeliner, lipstick, brushes, I could go on lol

Eye and lip products only for the most part. Certain others - mixing medium for example ... But that's only really useful if you're an artist. Their brushes are decent but most aren't worth the money.

It's all about personal preference. I personally love most MAC products mostly their Lipsticks and Fluidline gel eyeliner. Not a big fan of their foundation as it is rather thick but it's still cheaper than like NARS or MUFE.
