I need help! I have so many acne scars on my face. Pigmentation, texture, deep scars, the whole shabang! I was wondering what kind of peel or facial would work best to fade my scars?

I just started going to a dermatologist and they put me on tretinoin cream, and scheduled me to start getting chemicals, it's been 3 weeks since I been on the cream and my fave has dried up drastically

I would look into products that contain Vitamin A (retinol) and AHAs (glycolic acid). These ingredients even out skin tone. I would invest in a serum + moisturizer :)

Vitamin c serum and a BHA exfoliant worked well for my scars - you can see my progress in my photos on my profile - I used paulas choice products but brand is not as important as the ingredients - but what worked for me may or may not work for you so seeing a dermatologist really is your best bet.

Thank you ladies! I do see a dermatologist but it just helped clear up my acne. I went on Doxycycline and got a topical gel. But now that it's cleared up, I have a lot of redness and texture issues!

You have to be careful when mixing certain products, I cannot use glycilic acid or salicilic acid while I'm using retna.

I've gone to my sisters esthetician and she did microdermabrasion which will help out the deep acne scarring. Also a couple chemical peels which should help diminish the appearance of the deep scars. She also mentioned the derma roller but I asked her if I could do the procedure myself and she hesitated and said it's best that a professional does the procedure because one could injure ones face instead of helping especially since it is needles and who provides the product. I've seen them on Amazon but are not recommended since we don't know the source of those needles in the derma roller. As of my next appointment I'm going to get a chemical
Peel. I'd say my face has improved due to consistent regimen. The use of products and maintaining a good regimen. Now is just minimal which I don't mind getting these type of peels. Waiting to see the future results.
