This picture has been all over the Internet for a couple of years, please don't claim others work as your own.

I second Sophia.
As we all can see this photo is picked up from the internet.
You can see the username under the brow.

Just saying, you could get sued for copying others work and claiming it as your own.

Not cool to take credit for someone else's work. The artist is @miaumauve for those wondering

It's not even the same eye color. The situation strikes me as rather callow; a rookie move that the mods will hopefully (and most likely) address.

Rozberry, I've reported it. I'm honestly so disappointed that someone would steal someone else's work.

I am really glad I am not the only one who felt offended by this (maybe that's not the right word but it seems close enough)

Me too, Alexis. Good call on that. It's also a clearly an uncredited profile pic.

I think her profile picture is of a YouTuber, I can't remember her name (Mandy or something?) but she does makeup videos.

It's of Amanda Steele.

Her profile picture is I mean.

Yup, found another picture of her from the same day, different pose.

I've reported it too. This is an artist I've followed on Instagram for awhile and her work is beautiful. It's a shame people do stuff like this :(

I mean I've seen people use like pretty editorial photos as profile pictures, not everyone is comfortable putting their face on the Internet and I understand that, but I never really looked at her profile picture before and realized it was such a "high profile" person.

It's actually really disappointing to what people can do for fame and attention nowadays.
I mean okay trying to copy her look is one thing and stealing her work and portraying it as her own look is really sad.
I'm also reporting this.

This is why we should have an age minimum requirement on BL. 🙄😐

I can understand not noting someone infamous, like Liz Taylor, for example, in a profile pic, but for those who aren't quite legends, I think credit even in a profile pic is a reasonable expectation. I feel as if this demonstrates the member's pattern in the forum and as a whole.

Great to see fellow members on this. Our intelligence was underestimated..which is why it struck me as naivete.

Though this does show extreme immaturity I am not convinced it is an issue of youth. many young people are a part of the beautylish community because they are interested in connecing and learning. this was a very bad decision for many reasons and I truly hope "Jasmine" is the type of person to learn from it. be comfortable with creating the best you instead of thinking of how someone else is better. you don't learn or gain anything, including the emotional satisfaction you wanted originally, from praise that you did not earn.

Well, she closed her account. Problem solved. :) Good eye everyone! :) Oh, and there is an age requirement to have an account on Beautylish... You have to be 13. If anyone sees someone under the age of 13, let a moderator know.  ;)

I remember seeing this girl a few months ago. She claimed that her profile pic was her when I knew it was actually Amanda Steele, a YouTuber, glad everything is fixed now.
