Hair problems , really need help.

Hello everyone I wish you all a happy new year!
I've got this hair problem because of the straightener which I stopped to use cuz it ended up burning my hair.
I'm left with those weird burn/cut hair in the front which aren't babies hair. And no matter what I do it always stands straight and pops out.
Can you please help me cause it is super bothering

Have you tried a gel/oil/wax/cream (depending on your hair type) when your hair is wet to add some moisture to them or after its dry to smooth them down?
