I was talking to my husband about adding me to his DOLLAR RAZOR CLUB. Where they send you 4 razor blades a month for an inexpensive cost. Then while he was procrastinating, I did some research and found a really cool razor for women. It has 6 blades, SIX! And they're not all just lined up together. They are separated. 3, a space, then the other 3. The reason for this is so the razor head can bend. Not PIVOT, like a lot of razors on the market. This thing bends forward and backwards. Great for under the arms. Also, it does have 2 of those moisterizing strips but somehow they don't get slimy like others. It has an open back so it's easy to rinse off the hair and it has these tiny rubber nubbies that I THINK is supposed to brush the hair up, so the razor can get a closer shave. And it's really inexpensive. You can only get them online. But I got a good deal on Ebay. One razor and 10 cartridges for 18.00. I'm guessing I'll be good for 10 months (I'm not really that hairy). It's called SHAI, by a company called DORCO. DORCO does sell a regular thin rectangle one, but the one you want is the oval one. Here's a pic.

It also comes with a wall mount. Here's a pic of the cartridges. You can watch some reviews on youtube. Just enter DORCO SHAI.

I saw a deal for this brand online just the other day but was skeptical of their quality. Please let us know if you are happy with them. The only blades I use are Sensor Excel so I wonder how they compare.

I like them. I've only used it twice. At first I felt a little drag but I thought it could have been that I used a shower gel as a shaving cream whereas I usually use a shaving oil. But I didn't get any razors burns or irritation. The 2nd time I used it I felt the drag again. It kinda makes you think the razors aren't sharp enough. But then I realized that it was the "nubbies" that I was feeling. So the rubber nubbies give the razor a slight drag to pull up the hairs into a position where the razor can get as close to the base of the hair as possible. At least that's the concept of the nubbies. If you can get over that, I think you'll like it.
