The title says it all... Looking for something that has good coverage to cover acne scars but nothing too heavy bc I'm only 17 so I don't have to have a cakey face.
It would be nice if you girls recommend from both high end and drugstore
Thanks ❤️

I have extremely dry skin and here is what I recommend...
Makeup Forever Face and Body
Makeup Forever HD
Laura Mercier Silk Creme
Too Faced Born This Way (if you can get a good color match, which is hard for Too Faced because they are very yellow)
Clinique Super Moisture
Clinique Even Better
Merle Norman Mineral Powder (powders are actually really good for dry skin, as long aa you don't have flakes)
Bare Minerals Original Powder
I have tried Drugstore and so many High End and these are the only ones that work for me (the only one I have not tried from the list is the Laura one but it has great reviews for us dry skinned girls). But, as far as drugstore goes I have yet to find one that works for dryness and I'm always picking up the new ones to try, but they just don't cut it for my dry skin. A lot of dry skinned people love L'Oreal True Match Lumi and Almay (which I allergic to Almay so there's no way I can try it) but the L'Oreal does not work at all, it was one of the cakiest foundations I have tried. And I normally love L'Oreal!
One more thing, make sure you are prepping your skin with a good primer first. I highly recommend Embryolisse Lait Cream (a travel size at Sephora is $16, I think) some people break out from it though, but I have been using a few weeks and it hasn't bothered me; it works as both a primer and moisturizer. Other primers I recommend are Hourglass and L'Oreal Magic Lumi (love this stuff, great primer, but like I said the foundation did not work out for me!).
Before the primer, I also recommend CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser and Moisturizing Lotion. If the Lotion isn't good enough for your dryness go for the Moisturizing Cream, its heavier. If that doesn't help then move to the Night Renewing Cream, I use it both morning and night if I don't use the Embryolisse.
Hope this helped! Sorry its so long! Lol

I would recommend Too faced Born this way foundation for high end. It wore very well for me over dry patches throughout the day. And for drugstore foundation I recently tried the new Maybelline Dream Velvet Hydrating Matte and am really liking it so far! It's not super matte either so it doesn't make my dry spots stand out.

I actually love the elf Tinted Moisturizer or BB Cream for my dry skin days. It has awesome coverage and it hydrayes skin while leaving a dewey finish. Its ingredients are simple as well. For only $6, how can you not give it a go?!
