A really nice iron and wet hair is the best. But be very careful not to fry your hair.

If you don't want heat damage. a nautural easy thing to do overnight is wrap the hair around your head and Bobby pin it in place around your head, then put a shower cap or wig net on and when you wake up in the morning and unwrap you'll have straight hair(:

It's kinda expensive but you could also do a keratin treatment or something like that. It'll straighten it so it'll dry pretty much straight :) I've done it before and I loved it

Blow dry it with a brush then straighten it

Lisa, that one is very damaging.

I would let it air dry at least. Blow drying causes a lot of breakage. If you want volume I'd try Big Sexy Hair products. They are inexpensive and very affective.

Based on a specialist, I wouldn't do any chemical treatment. I was going to but then saw a hair and scalp specialist and thank God I didn't get it done. It's totally up to you though but I'd stick to using a really good straightener and sectioning your hair as your doing it

Don't go for chemical treatments..use hair products that would make them heavy and then use a good iron to straighten them more...I use Loreal Pure Sleek Shampoo, Mark Hill Miracoilicious Argan Oil shampoo, Aussie 3 minute miracle deeeep conditioner, Keune Balm conditioner. These products would help straighten your hair to an extent..air dry them after washing with these...then when they are fully dried put John Freida Frizz Ease serum and iron them straight. voila! also, use yoghurt, honey and almond oil mask every week..yoghurt helps break natural hair bonds and straighten them.

Never iron your hair wet...it will kill them.. literally... always make sure your hair is completely dry before ironing it..if you use a good hair serum like John Freida thermal protection one and give them a good pampering with diy mask every week then iron won't even damage them much...use a good straightener like Remington Anti Frizz one so that it doesn't do much damage either.

never straighten it when wet, it's a big no no. it will literally kill your hair.
always use a heat protectant, I personally love Garnier Frutis (if I am even spelling that right) leave in conditioner and then I use John Freida for a little extra protection.
straighten in small one inch to half an inch sections so you can really get it straight.
I would suggest getting a good quality straightener for it makes a world of a difference in how straight your hair is, I personally love CHI.
make sure to have the heat up a notch or two below the highest hear for it will take longer/get frizzy when the heat is lower.
I hope this helps, and this is just what works for me, and not everyone. but you can definitely try :)

And the second picture was taken about three days of having it straight with one touch up.
