OK so I have acrylic nails and they are growing out and looking awful so my dumb question is can I remove them at home and if so how and one more thing what's some good after care for my nails?

Soak in acetone n use a makeup spatula or cuticle pusher and gently scrape off the acrylic, soak and scrape and soak until it's all off

Personally I suggest going to a nail salon to get them taken off. I've had acrylics before and then them off myself and my nails were weak and brittle because I didn't know what I was doing. Thankfully I have good genes so my nails grew back strong and healthy but some people (like my mom) aren't so lucky and their nails never fully recover after taking acrylics off themselves. Leave it to a professional.

If you can get acetone and soak your nails for a long while that will work, or you can go to the salon and get them removed.both are just as good.
