Do You Prefer Matte Or Shimmer Shadows

For blending? I like shimmers and frosty shadows but my glasses magnify and makes it look cakey :(
I have taken a liking to matte shadows bit they are a bit harder to blend for me.
What do you prefer?
Can anyone suggest a good palette of mattes or a combo of mattes and shimmers. Would naked be a good purchase?

I like mattes and the blending is so so. The Lorac PRO has a good combo of mattes and shimmers. The mattes are very very blendable. Both of the full Nakeds have a lot of shimmery eyeshadows. The Basics is almost all matte.

I prefer matte shadows because they tend to look more natural. Naked is fine but there are not that many matte shades. Nude 'Tude from TheBalm has more matte shades.

I love both equally. I was stressed when my collection lacked a decent number of mattes but I also love shimmers because they just make my eyes pop.

I like matte because I'm still learning and I can build without looking like tin foil. Naked 2 is all shimmery except for a base, pink/mauve, a brown and a black I think. I'd love a matte pink pallette along w a neutral pallette.
