Hallo all.
I have very red cheeks and eyelids. I always try to cover this up with foundation but it always comes trough. I really don't like this caky foundation look and I always end up looking orange :P Also I can't wear blush cause it looks too much on my cheeks. I don't want to layer so much foundation anymore, I have a very clear skin with freckles and I find it a shame that I have to hide it under all those layers and contouring also looks weird on me because of my cheeks. What can I do?

My second problem is that I have a very sweaty forehead :( It ruins my makeup after 2/3 hrs.

Does anyone have some tips? :)

What is your skincare routine like? Because the red cheeks/lids could be caused by something in your skincare.
Red cheeks can also be genetic - do others in your family have flushed cheeks like your?
When the problem is your skin its often best to looking skincare rather then makeup - makeup can only do so much and I understand you don't want to use heavy coverage on your beautiful skin!

As for contour it also looks weird on me because of my big cheeks, so I don't do it, because the thing with contour is that it is meant to make your cheekbone pop and girls with cheeks like us we already have cheekbones that pop so we actually don't ned it! Play around with blush and highlight instread it will give you a beautiful look as well :)

For your oily forheard I would recommend that you look into an oil control primer - I really like the BareMinerals one but lots of brands has oil control primers in their lines. Also setting your forhead with a setting powder can help the makeup stay longer :)

Uhm I use Mario Badescu oil free moisturizer and their gel cleanser. And some nameless cleansing milk. And sometimes I put bio oil on my face if I'm very dry I have like small bumps on my jawline you can't see them but I feel it. My mom has a very red face with super sensitive skin so maybe it's my genetics. What skincare products do you suggest? I'm still looking for products to improve my skincare but I find it pretty expensive. Thanks for the tips! I heard good things about the BareMinerals one. Sorry if my english is bad I'm from Europe.

I'm European as well, so no need to apologize for anything :) We do the best we can with a language that is not our first :)
As for skin care I'm unfortunately not an expert so I dot think I would be the right person to give you product advice - also because I don't know your skin! I'm still trying to find my perfect products, at the moment I'm trying out Biotherm and really liking it! But yes it is expensive but once you skin is in check all your makeup will preform better haha that what I think every time I drop money on skincare!
I would recommend to book a time at a clinic where professionals can look at your skin, see what it needs, see if the redness is caused by some irritation or if it is genetic :)

Well, start with skincare specifically for skin that gets red. I believe Aveeno is one brand at the drugstore that makes products for redness. Also, I like using a concealer that has a green undertone to counteract redness like Sonia Kashuk Hidden Agenda Concealer Palette. It has 3 tones of flesh colored concealer. One has a green undertone. It's NOT obviously green. It's the undertone. I personally don't like layering on products like a corrector, then a concealer, then a foundation, then powder etc, if I can help it. But if your redness is over a large area of your face, I would recommend IT COSMETICS BYE BYE REDNESS. It's a multi use product that can be used as corrector under foundation, as a spot concealer or as a full face foundation. Google it and see if it's something you may want to try. Also, if you do use a corrector under foundation first, I would suggest a long wearing foundation like Estee Lauder Double Wear. A lot of times covering redness is not the problem, it's KEEPING it covered throughout the day. Makeup will tend to wear away on some people and redness and discoloration will start to peek through after a few hours. Estee Lauder Double Wear comes in LIGHT, ORIGINAL, MAXIMUM COVERAGE, CONCEALER and I believe they make a BB or CC or EE cream.

For eyelids. Urban Decay Shadow liner in EDEN or if that's not light enough for you, Mac Paint Pots, in Painterly or check out the other colors they have. You don't have to wear shadow to wear a shadow primer. These tinted products will help neutralize discolorations.

If you can get a hold of some beauty control foundation and remedies it will take everything away and be a very high coverage foundation
