So I've been wanting to dye my hair red for quite some time. Over a year ago I put black box dye in my hair(yes. I know. It was a BADDD idea!) so anyways about 4 months later I used a color remover which actually brought hair to a reddish brown. I don't have much black dye layers in there. I also haven't dyed my hair since I did the color stripper (I had to even the color about a bit). There's a still a few pieces with dark hair. My hair grows at a pretty rapid rate and I also cut my hair to a long angled bob this summer. I can't exactly afford to get my hair bleached by a professional. My actually went to cosmetology school but left 2 months prior to getting her license. So she has some experience with hair. What products would you recommend and also how should I approach this?

Side note: I have EXTREMELY thick hair. It has a curl/wave to it. It handles color with little to no damage.

You're going to damage your hair pretty bad if you don't want to get it professionally done and it will just make it harder for someone to fix. :/
