True, full coverage, matte finish (don't think dry skin will like it as much), long wearing, good slip, dries down really fast, so you have to work quickly. Limited shade range. Even though it has more coverage than the regular Double Wear, it actually has a thinner texture than the regular DB. It's hard to describe cuz when you squeeze it out from the tube, it's more of a cream texture (regular DW has a runny liquid consistency) but the Max has incredible slip and pigmentation, so less is more. You'll need a lot less of the Max then you need of the regular. It can be a little masky, so you have to be careful with the amount you use. I personally don't like it as a full face foundation. Medium coverage foundation covers what I need it to cover. But I do actually use it on my nose only, because I wear glasses, that has a tendency to wear my foundation off and I get those red indentations. The Max foundation stays on better than any other foundation I've ever used. I also sometimes use it as a facial concealer, not because it's better than my other concealers (it's just as good) but because again, it's long wearing. Regular concealer covers well but can wear away after awhile even when setting with a powder. But the Max really sticks around all day even without powder. I would only use this foundation if you have a lot of difficult discoloration that other foundations can't cover because imo, it's not very natural looking. But I understand if you want to cover something, it's a sacrifice you have to make.

I recently bought this foundation and so far I'm impressed overall. I have oily combo skin with dry patches around my nose, eyelids and between my brows with the occasional dry patch on my cheeks. I have nothing major to cover only a mildly uneven complexion. I love medium buildable foundations and full coverage too.
The coverage is really nice, a definite full coverage. It has a Matte finish and good lasting power about 8 hours. However it doesn't last that long on my oily areas (nose and chin) about 6 hours or so but using a primer and setting spray helps a lot, I use lancome la base pro primer and maybelline setting spray. It has a nice slip to it and glides over my drier areas without emphasising them! A little goes a long way too and it can be applied numerous ways, I've tried with my fingers, brushes and a sponge and my favourite method is with a real techniques buffing brush. The only thing I dislike about the foundation is the scent, it's hard to describe it but I would say it smells mildly of cooking oil and avocado! (I know, strange description!)
Overall it's a great foundation but needs to be removed thoroughly such as double cleansing with any oil based cleanser or balm. I should also mention it does feel heavy on the skin but that is to be expected with such a heavy duty full coverage foundation.

I add a little of the elf moisturizer in a pump to it on the back of my hand. mix together the dab on face using the beauty blender to smooth it out. goes on not as thick but covers great.
