Hey ladies! So I never really wear eyeliner but I have to now for my cheer competitions but it always looks like crap. I have a comp this Saturday (1-16-16) and I would like some tips on how to do it and what's the best way? The photo below is what it always looks like vs. what I want. Please ignore the words:) also I have liquid if that helps. thank you!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️🙃🙃🙃😘😘😘😘😘🎀🍟😸

To make your eyeliner look great really depends on what product you use, Okay to start off its easiest to use a pencil eyeliner for if you aren't amazing at doing the wing or just the bottom of your eyelid.
~some people say to just draw it supper messy, then clean it up with a cotton swab and some Vaseline in it, but that takes some time if you are in a hurry.
~using a liquid eyeliner takes more time and precision, so if you are in a time crunch, just don't even try.
~Personally, I am an eyeshadow junkie so I TONS of palettes just laying around. I like using a liner brush and taking some black eyeshadow I like to just draw it on.
~making your eyeliner look good takes time,
So make sure you have about an extra 5 minutes prior to starting you eyeliner.
(Sorry if any of this doesn't make sense, I don't really know how to put it) xoxo hope this sorta helped😂💗

Try using a little tape on the outa corner to get the wing neater.

There's tons of tutorials on YouTube that will help. I don't know what I'd do without them! I do winged liner every day, I still wouldn't call myself a pro...some days go flawlessly, other days I'm reaching for Q-tips and eye makeup remover. It all takes practice, really. I would recommend for you to use a gel liner and a small angled brush, you'd have more control than a liquid and gel is just easier to use for beginners (that's where I started) Maybelline makes a good gel liner (but the brush is crap, e.l.f. makes good ones). Good luck, you'll nail it someday!

I posted a pic of me with my liner. This was after a day of busting out the Q-tips lmao

Definitely check out the tutorials on YouTube! Depending on what you already own and how much you want to spend, I really like a liquid liner in a pen form, like Lorac pro or Kat Von D tattoo liner. I like the applicator size and precision from both :). Good luck and practice practice
