May I ask why you want to bake? Are you having pictures taken?

I think it has to be a loose powder, I'm not sure I haven't tried baking yet.

Elf has a great powder. Also sometimes even with a powder you can still look cakey so before I set my face I press my hands into my face because the warmth of you hands and fingers with help blend it into your skin better

Ok, just didn't if flash-based was a concern. I would suggest Coty Airspun Translucent Loose Powder. Although I find it kinda of ironic that girls are looking for a "non-cakey' look when they're "baking"! Lol! But, I get it. I think this powder will a less cakey look. It's a soft, smooth powder that's been around for decades. I don't know how realistic it is to expect absolutely NO cakiness. Due to the fact that this method is based on excess. But, experiment and see what kinda of balance you can achieve between flawless and cakiness. have fun!

We'll see the " baking " is taken place under the eyes that's where I would bake I'm not going to bake my forehead which is where some of the cakeyness happens

Using a translucent powder I think would work best. I use Elf's right now and it works pretty well when I do take the time to bake under my eyes. I know MUFE has a good powder too

Just use as little foundation as possible on your forehead, most people don't have that much to cover there. Then make sure your foundation completely set before powdering. Mixing powder with moist foundation causes cakiness. And if you wear a lot of foundation, it takes longer to set. and don't powder too much. That just causes a powdery look that can make you look dry and old.

I know the whole baking trend started with Kim Kardashian and what she used was Ben Nye banana powder for the under eye. I haven't tried it myself because it's too expensive but I've seen comparisons between it and the Nyx banana powder and the Ben nye performs way better for baking.

I bake my undereyes almost every day because my concealer never stays put. I used to use the airspun powder that is very cheap but now I use the Laura Mercier powder. I just bake there and the tip of my nose and it's not cakey at all. You can find airspun powder at Walgreens

I've never tried it for baking, but RCMA colorless powder is great and cheap!
