How do I master gel liner?

I find gel liners so smudgy and difficult! Everytime I try to draw a line it doesn't go straight, there's like these creases on my eyes that make it difficult for my brush to draw through, it kinda hard to explain. But yeah...here's my attempt to line my eyes using the Maybelline Eyestudio Gel Liner.

Use concealer to correct any messes and make the wing extra sharp and just take you time. do it nice and slow.

Thanks guys, I do use liquid liners actually but I also want to use gel liners. I want to be good at every type of liners possible(:

That cat eye is sharper than my kitchen knife💕
Don't start again just use concealer. Good luck!
