Okay so my hair is ombrƩ.
Top is brown and bottom is like a caramel color. I was thinking of dying my hair blonde since I had it blond before and then I decided to dye it black which was my biggest regret ever because I didn't like it. Then I went to ombrĆ©. But now I'm missing my light color hair šŸ˜... So I'm going shopping for some hair dye at Sally's some time this week. My question here is should I use 30 or 40 developer and what kind of blond should I use. And if you believe I should just try to dye it another color? Thank you :)

And well I usually dye my hair by myself but I always ask for opinions just to be sure (: so your opinions are very helpful to me. šŸ™ŒšŸ¼

40 volume is awful for your hair so go for 30. Also, is the brown your natural hair or did you color it that way?

I swear by color remover if you have black in your hair because you won't be able to bleach or color over it without it turning orange. Strip the color out first and it'll be easier to work with. And then like Bailee said 40 is often way too harsh for hair so go for 30 or 20, they work the same but at a slower rate I'd say from my experience with it.

NEVER USE 40! I usually go with 20 and a few bleach applications, you could go with 30 but be careful not to leave it in too long. (you're going to have to bleach it if you want it blonde, then you can tone, no dye necessary)

I would first use a color remover like Color B4 that will get your black to an orange based and then I would bleach it. I always use color remover first before I start bleaching and it works so good!! Saves you from a lot of extra damage.
