Hair Straightening Brush

I've seen many videos on YouTube that say both sides. That it doesn't work and that it does. I personally have not tried it but a friend did. She had fairly curly hair and it did not work. I don't don't how it would work for slightly curly hair of straight hair but in the one run in I've had it has not worked.
