Do you use a heat protectant?

If your hair is already damaged then you shouldn't be putting any heat on it, even if you are using a heat protectant. I highly suggest getting a haircut to cut off the damaged hair and use moisturizing hair masks.

I agree with Alexis. But you should use a heat protectant every time you straighten your hair. You should use moisturizing hair masks to revitalize your hair. Once it feels healthier you can again go back to hot hair tools while using protectant. I wouldn't go over 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Hope this helps.

Use a heat protector for your hair. And I agree with Alexis, try not to use heat products and cut off the damaged parts.

Do you color your hair? If so I highly recommend getting an Olaplex treatment! I have extremely healthy hair but I get it every time I color just because it makes my hair so much stronger and healthier. It is different than any other product because it actually goes deep down and repairs hair rather than just coating it like most hair mask treatments do.
Next get a haircut! If you don't cut it asap then those split ends are just going to continue to get worse and split even more; which then means you'll have to get it cut shorter because you have waited.
I use heat on my hair every single day, thankfully though I just have "good" hair, most people can't use as much heat as I do and have hair that is as healthy as it is. However, I do make sure that I use a heat protector, I use masks, and good shampoo and conditioners, and I get my hair trimmed every 6-8 weeks. I have been straightening my hair for over 10+ years and the most important thing I have learned is that the tool does make a difference! A lot of cheap irons require more heat damage because they don't get the hair straight from the first swipe or two, which leads to more heat damage. I recommend Babyliss Flat Iron (I have the dryer too; before I always used cheap hair dryers but once I bought a higher end, I will never go back!). I actually bought mine in a set at Ulta about a year ago and it was a great investment, and worth the money especially when I use it every single day. For heat protectors I recommend Its a 10 Plus Keratin; its amazing! A little pricy but a big bottle last me a good 4-5 months and I use a ton of it because my hair is really thick. I used to use Garnier and Tresemme until I tried Its a 10 and ran out and used the Garnier and Tresemme and my hair looked fried!! Since then I have been using Its a 10 Plus Keratin (orange lid; I don't think the regular works as well for heat a protectant) and my hair looks great and it really helps cut down on the heat damage.
Now for other hair tips, I recommend using a good hair oil (I use Rusk, Biosilk, or Organix Morrocan Argan Oil). And I also recommend using a hair mask about 1 or 2 times a week; my favorite is definitely Macadamia, I get it at Ulta and I buy the $12 travel size and it last me a long time! But its definitely my favorite. Now for shampoo's, a great drugstore is L'Oreals Ever- (you will probably want to try the Repair, Smoothing, or Nourishing) there are several different ones bur they are all really good, sulfate free, and really nice for drugstore.

I agree 100% with Alexis, cut all the split ends off. When my hair got fried my hairdresser snipped 2" off the length to get rid of all the split ends & damaged fried bits. She told me to watch this you tube review:
http://www.pro-naturals.com/pro-naturals-hair-repair-system.html
I bought it & religiously used it for one week in every 6 weeks and after a few months my hair was back to being smooth with no more split ends. After each shampoo & condition day I now use the Karmin Heat Protection & Shining Spray on to damp hair before blow drying & heat styling, great heat protectant. Hope it helps you also.

Also I agree with Alexis. I already suggested haircuts on your other post. I think it's would be best for you now to let your hair curly just use moisturizing hair products for curly hair to prevent frizz and make nice curls.
