I would like to know this as well. I've been on the hunt for over a year now.

I would recommend going and getting a consultation from a hair stylist. Show them pictures like this one and they can help choose what's best for you.

Ivey's idea is best. Sometimes the appointment could get expensive. If you want to do it in the comfort of home and have salon-like qualities, I suggest going to a nearby Sally Beauty. They have amazing hair colors that are inexpensive and also not as damaging as some other brands. Some salons are Sally Beauty owned, but not many depending on where you live. If there is one near your area I suggest going to that. But if not, a nearby Sally Beauty is great. A sit down appointment with a hair stylist is best, thougy.

I've had my hair burgundy and bright red many times lol..I used Loreals hicolor permanent highlights in the shade red. All you need is developer (I used 30vol) and the product, mix it together, and apply. How red it turns depends on the amount of time you leave it for. :)
I've gotten a bright red to a burgundy color with the product. I love it.
