Okay, so I brush my teeth like I should, but my teeth have a yellow tint to them. They are not so bad that it would make people talk bad about my teeth, but they just aren't as white as I would like them. I've read on the internet that the aluminum foil treatment should work. It's where you mix baking soda and toothpaste together and spread it on aluminum foil and put the aluminum foil on your teeth and keep it there for an hour. Has anyone tried this and did it work or ruin your teeth? And are there any other tricks that might help whiten my teeth quickly and naturally?? By the way I don't have any lemon juice or orange peels! 😂 thanks to everyone for their answers!!

I have never heard of the "aluminum foil treatment" but it just sounds damaging and painful. I would highly suggest just using whitening toothpastes and/or whitening strips instead of doing something that can potentially hurt your mouth/teeth.

Please don't do that. Also never use acids on your teeth, they erode the enamel. While whitening strips work for some, the straighter your teeth, the better for them to whiten all around. Also, keep in mind that some people's enamel is naturally on the yellow side (as are mine) and bleaching doesn't always work. (My source is my father who has been a dentist over 30 years)

I have thought about whitening strips but they are like $19 at the stores I've shopped for them at.

It's cheaper to buy whitening strips that going to your dentist to fix an enamel problem ;) it's not safe to use DIY treatments since they damage your teeth (no matter how much bloggers swear they work)

I use plus white 5 minute speed whitening gel. It's $8 and it works great. It was recommended by my dentist:)

I love using the natural charcoal tablets to whiten my teeth!! I just pour it in my mouth and brush my teeth for 5-10 minutes (10 for amazing results). And it's super cool to watch your mouth turn charcoal black! Au Natural:)

Do not buy the plus white ones. I've used them before and I followed the instructions perfectly. The next morning when I woke up I felt like I had lock jaw. It was a very painful experience.

I use the plus white 5 minute gel as well and have been for years. I love it. My extremely sensitive teeth don't hurt at all afterwards. It shows results super quick. Just don't over do it. I use it once every two weeks to maintain my teeth and get rid of any new stains. My teeth aren't extremely white but I don't need super fake white teeth so that's what working for me lol.

I had the same kind of situation with my teeth and I have to say that I agree with the ladies above. I tried the home remedies, but those had no impact what so ever. After trials of nothing but errors, I finally decided to use my time and money on something that actually works. I used Crest 3D Luxe whitening strips and I've never felt so great about my teeth (can't help but to smile really lol). In a shell, if you really want those pearly whites, try a whitening kit of some kind (highly suggesting Crest strips!) You can try to collect the money for a one kit, whiten and after that maintain the whiteness with a whitening tooth paste.
