So I'm quickly running out of concealer and foundation but I'm on a budget right now so I don't really want to buy any high end products so to speak. what are your reccomendations for drug store foundation and concealer? also how do you appropriately match your skin when purchasing drug store products since its not like going to Sephora and being matched by a consultant?? thanks so much in advance!!??

I know CVS has tester bottles of them and tester powders and all that you can swatch on at the store. I would do Maybelline Fit Me. They are my favorite drug store setting powder, foundation, concealer.

I agree on the fit me line. There are 2 different formulas to choose from based on your skin type:)

Loreal infallible is by far the best drug store foundation that I've used. the pro matte and pro glow are both beautiful. I usually just wing it with matching my color. I know I'm almost always the second lightest so that's just what I go with.

Personally, I gravitate towards L'oreal when it comes to drugstore foundation.

I quite like their True Match range as well as their Infallible one.

For the true match super blendable liquid it's great for normal to oily skin.

Their true match compact makeup is good for normal to slightly dry skin or even slightly oily.

I've heard people with dry skin like their true match lumi.

And each foundation in the true match range has 3 undertones. Cool, neutral and warm and a good amount of shades in each especially the original one.

The concealer in the true match is good for under eye concealer but as far as blemishes it's a little too liquidy for me.

The Loreal infallible foundation is great if you're straight up oily but the only downside is most the colors are yellow toned and I'm not sure if the lightest shade is light enough for very fair skinned gals

I have oily skin for reference...

The best foundation I've tried from the drugstore is L'Oreal Infallible Pro Matte. I have an extremely yellow undertone, and as Aurora mentioned, they do run a bit yellow in terms of shades.

My other favorite is Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless (they also have one suitable for dry skin but I haven't tried it). I do have to mix shades to get a match but it's not a big deal since it's so cheap ($6 where I am.)

Those are two I would recommend.

For concealer I would recommend the maybeline age rewind concealer, it's really good for concealing under eye circles and for highlighting.

For concealer I agree with Sophia's suggestion! Also, the Maybelline highlighting lumi pen is another great one.

I believe I have pink and gold undertones...at least that's what the lady told me last time I went to Sephora. my skin type is combination most of the time. I am looking for a medium to full coverage. thanks ladies
