Hello All! I just got my package in the mail from The Balm Cosmetics. I scored two liquid lipsticks, two eyeshadows, and a highlighter during their 50% off sale! Here's some swatches and opinions. What are your favorites from the brand and why?

Sincere on top and Charming on bottom. Sincere reminds me a lot of Gemini by JS. Though JS doesn't stay true to the color in the tube when it dries on your lips. I love Sincere because it looks like a nice off-nude against my olive skin. By far my favorite formula. Light and mousse-y, LONG WEARING, and not super dry feeling or flaky.

Eyeshadows are the top two, and highlighter is the bottom one. I put UD eye primer potion under them and applied with a brush. First is #7 Shimmering Champagne. It's a nice classic light gold. Love to use a color like this all over my lid! Reminds me of a less glittery version of Funny Girl (Tartlette In Bloom palette.) Happy I found a single, since I always run out of colors like this in my shadow palettes first! Next is #28 Satin Burgundy Shimmer. Looks a little more plum to me, but a beautiful color nonetheless. Pigmented after two swipes and would make an awesome color for the crease of my eyes. Last is Mary Lou Manizer. Not a whole lot to say other than that I'm not very impressed with it. I put four layers on my hand to get it to show up for a picture. I don't use really glittery highlighters, which is why I chose this. I have used Watts Up by Benefit for years now, and has been the only one I've found I like. I might just use this as a base for eye looks. I feel that since it barely shows up on my skin, the wear might not be too great either. Excited to create some fun looks with everything I got! I would also like to add this picture was taken with flash so that the highlighter would show up!

I love that highlight it looks crazy bright and like blam in your face on my cheeks lol. Since it is so glittery I usually only use it on my brow bone, inner corners and cupids bow:)

Mary Loumanizer applies loads better with a brush with light-medium density. I hate it in finger swatches. A brush used to buff it out will help really get that shimmery pigment into your skin and make it look more sheeny and less "glittery."

Ahh I used a dense blush brush to apply it. Maybe it'll grow on me!
