So I got a chemical peel done, this is my 4th one, but my at one this year and I had 3 last year, last year I went higher and higher percentage slowly every appt, this time I went I got the same percentage I did on my 3rd one a year ago, and I also picked a lot at the dry skin and peeled it, so I think I have either a chemical burn or something yesterday and the day before I had ice on both sides and I read to try hydrocortisone cream I didn't have any so I put on polysporin and it helped right away with the burning I didn't have to use ice packs anymore, anyone recommend what I should use?

Just keep icing it and don't touch it.

This happened to me once when I had a chemical peel and forgot to stop using retin A beforehand. I think I may have used hydrocortisone cream and aquaphor. It went away without leaving any scarring or anything, but I think it took a little while to completely disappear. Good luck!

Stop icing it. Keep the area well moisturized, and wear sunscreen everyday. Feel free to sleep with vaseline/aquaphor on it. The skin is already hyperpigmented; irritating it with extreme hot or cold won't help.
