Hourglass makes beautiful products! I love all of my Hourglass products and I have quite a few. Can't imagine poor quality! Ambient lighting would be about subtlety to me, and it could just make you glow and not look bright. Would you be unable to return it if you don't like it? I would never order a product from a website I could not return to.

I just bought this palette, unfortunately I haven't received it yet so I can't swatch it :( From the pictures I have seen and the reviews I read it seems like its very light in color and might be better suited for fair to light skin tones. But there is a pretty bright blush in there that I think would be perfect for medium skin! The other blush is a light peach color that may be to light for you depending on how deep your skin tone is. The bronzer is also in light, I have their other bronzer in light which is perfect for my very fair skin, so that might be too light as well. The big pan of the surreal light powder is a setting powder and I think that might work on you, if not as a setting powder then maybe as a "brightening powder". The highlight I think will be good for you, looks like a pretty champagne color, I'm actually afraid it will be a tad dark on me!
I hope you get it and all the different shades matches you, cos it's a gorgeous palette and a great collectable! But man hourglass powders is addictive ;)

I have not heard a single bad thing about the palette other then the size vs the price, because it is expensive! But hourglass is a luxury brand so the price is to be expected, although high. All the reviews I have heard/seen has nothing to say about the quality other then it is totally up to par with all of hourglass products, hourglass would not put out anything less.
As for pigmentation, as it is a blush/bronzer/setting powder/highlight palette, pigmentation is a bit silly to talk about (nor have I heard it talked about) A setting powder will not be pigmented as it is not meant to give coverage, blushes is not full pigment as it would be impossible to apply on your cheeks, the bronzer is mean to give you a light bronze glow, not a full pigmented bronze and the highlighter is mean to give you a more natural highlight, a glow from with in look, and will therefore not be as pigmented as a... Becca highlight for instance...

I've been curious about this product as well. The holidays are coming up and so many luxuary brands come out with so many exquiste items!
You must let us know how it is Sabrina, I quite frankly prefer to hear from someone who has tried it out rather than he said she said nonsense :)

The only negative I've heard is that this palette is better suited for fair- light medium skin tones. But some people expect the Ambient lighting powders to show up as an intense highlight and they are finishing powders, meant to impart good light to the complexion. So I wonder if the negative reviews are unrealistic expectations. I don't expect an extreme highlight from Hourglass. Even the Strobe powders are subtle. Tarababyz has a great review and swatches on her YY channel. She is very honest and does in depth reviews.

Ues I know hourglass give the glow within lol.I do have the becca highlighter I know those are intense so I wanted something more glowy thn glittery.but as others mentioned I have seen the reviews its suited more on fair skin as I'm a medium.so I just wamted opinion about it from a person who has it.but more I will know once I get it.yes the good thing is I got it from sephora if it won't go with my skin then I will just return it.

Natalie, I have their holiday palette from last year and it's amazing!! I use every single color in it and have bought large sizes in a few of them, I liked them so much. The only products I haven't loved are the Ambient Lighting with the glitter. That's just me, though. :)
