So I've decided that I wanted to buy a new foundation but I'm stuck between the two. The main thing that drew me to them was the fuller coverage and the natural/skin-like finish they supposedly have. However, NARS is so pricey and I've heard that it feels heavy on the skin and it tends to cling to dry patches. Since I'll be wearing these foundations during the fall and winter that's the last thing I would want it to do. However with the Too Faced one it seems that they don't have many shades with a yellow undertone. I'm around a NC20-25 skintone with a definite yellow undertone and anything past the shade "Vanilla" starts to lean beige or pink. *sigh* Oh the struggles.
My skin is combination but I'm really ok with a more dewy look where my natural oil starts to peek through.
Do you have any opinions? Reviews? Have any of you tried these foundations? I'm really just trying to collect as much information about them as possible.
Thank you!

I've tried the NARS and it looks very makeup-y on the skin and exaggerated any pores and texture on the skin.

@Alexis C. Oooh thank you for your input! It seems like the main gripe for the NARS one is that it exaggerates the stuff you don't want exaggerated (lines, texture, dry skin etc.)

If you do have dry patches be sure to moisturize. But the nars all day luminous is really thin is consistency but full coverage. It isn't heavy and build able. The two faced is more natural finish.

@Makayla M. @Natalie S. Thank you for your input! it seems that I'm starting to hedge towards the too faced one more??

I also recommend Too Faced BTW- I could not make Nars All Day Luminous work. I tried several different application methods and skin preps. It was patchy and emphasized my pores (which isn't even an issue for me typically). It oxidized into a weird orange shade no matter how I set it and I even exchanged it for a different shade. TF BTW is great. It's medium to full coverage but looks like skin. It looks so good in photos and in person. I'm on my second bottle- that's how much I love it.

I agree with two faced as well, I tried it and loved it by far one of my favorite foundations ever.

I'm also combo. the finish on two faced is beautiful as well I wouldn't say it's full on dewy but definitely not matte. also feels so good on my skin doesn't feel like a mask.
