Another tip I have for you is to buy some witch hazel. I have the Dickinson's brand and really really recommend it! It smooths, refreshes and deep cleans my skin. I don't break out when I use it and it brightens my complexion and also smooths the texture incredibly! I just rub it on my face morning and night after cleansing, and it has done wonders for me. My new holy grail! I bought mine at Walgreens for $3.99.
Next, I know these are said often but drinking lots of water, changing your pillow case, and not touching your face are all things that will help your skin out a lot.
All of these things together should help to heal and prevent the type of acne you are getting! I hope this helps! I will insert a picture of the witch hazel I like.
-also you might consider seeing a dermatologist if these things don't help.

A well formulated Salicylic acid product should help keep your pores clear. Check out the formulas from Paula's Choice.
However, if it's cystic acne, you may not be able to do much about it topically. A dermatologist can help you if good skincare habits aren't cutting it.
