From the change of weather my skin has been breaking out on and off. I do have eczema and it seems to be better during the winter time because it's not hot anymore. but my face is still a bit dry from my last break out. my skin is smooth but it looks dehydrated. especially under neath my eyes my foundation creases and my dry skin makes me look like I have wrinkles right now :( so the foundation makes it look bad. I've tried different moisturizers and little bit of powder. I was thinking maybe a thicker moisturizer? what do you think?

I'd use a thicker moisturizer and put it on maybe 20-30 minutes before you do your makeup to give it time to soak in.

I like sheet masks a few times a week at night. I also like a more hydrating nighttime moisterizer like Origins Nightamins Or Clinique Moisture Surge, then I top it off with a facial oil. I've used several different kinds of oil, whatever I've had on hand. I've used Farsali, Clarins and even Olay Luminous oils. The key is the oil on top of your nighttime moisterizer to lock in the moisture. Then in the morning, I use a moisterizing sunscreen and Smashbox Oil Primer before foundation. Then I'll use a foundation that doesn't accentuate dry patchiness like Loreal Lumi, Loreal Infallible Pro Glow or Estee Lauder Nutriv Intensive Lifting Foundation. I'm not saying you have to follow ALL these tips, but these are the things I do when my skin gets out of control dry. You may not be as dry as I am, so maybe try out a couple of these tips.

Drink more water and find a good moisturizer. Use a foundation that won't accentuate dry skin, such as bourjois healthy mix. I'd also suggest looking at MAC Careblend powder. It's the best powder for dry skin, and never makes my super dry skin look powdery. A facial mist might also help with your face not looking so dry. Right now I'm loving the tarte rainforest of the sea mist. It smells like oranges and makes my skin look nice and dewy.
