Take your hand, and pull the outer part of your eye.. So basically your eye is pulled shut. From there, slowly line the lash line in small short strokes till you want your eyeliner to end. For thickness variation you can move your eye pencil/liquid up towards your brown bone (just a little) to create a more thicker look.
Hope that helps!

I do my eyeliner before mascara and hold my eye closed by my lashes then draw a line, and if i screw up I just fill it in more to make it thicker

K so if u do eyeshadow, do it before everything. Then, with your eye open, draw a thin line across your upper lid, I recommend Maybelline New York's " Line stiletto" because its a liquid liner and the brush bends. It's super easy to use and in order to make a perfect wing, all you have to do is slightly Press down on the brush and then you've got your wing! Then you can do you're mascara, and the rest of your makeup :)
