Do you think that this dress will be okay for her wedding? The only thing I was worried about it the colour as I'm shorter than the model so it'd be to my knees. The wedding is fairly casual for a wedding, they're having the ceremony in a hotel and then the reception is in a function room and outside (they're having afternoon tea and a bbq).
Thanks in advance :)

I would check with the bride. If it were my wedding, I would say absolutely not because I would want to be the only one wearing white, but some people care less about certain aspects so I think running the dress by her would be the respectful thing to do :)

Definitely ask! It really depends on the bride. I've been to weddings where the bride is the only one to wear white and get super offended by it, and recently my cousin had a destination wedding, I didn't get to go, but her whole side of the wedding party, her mom, dad, sister's, all wore white or light pastel colors. The photos looked beautiful. The grooms side all wore darker colors and it looked super nice. But again, it would depend!

Check with the bride! White is a huge no no 1. Because of tradition and 2. If her dress is an ivory and off white not a stark white, your dress could actually make hers appear dingy or dirty in pictures. Always check before you make fashion choices that go against tradition. Always check if white is okay, just don't assume. And never wear the colors of the wedding so you don't match the bridesmaids.

I agree with the others, ask but I personally think it's too white.
It's a lovely dress though, where is it from?

Thanks Rebecca! It's from Boohoo on eBay! They have a ebay shop called Boohoo outlet where they cut the price of the item, the dress was 50% off but a lot of stuff is more. It's literally end of the rail type stuff, sale items, cheaper new season items.
