Hello, I'm a 14 year old girl and I want to begin with makeup and beauty. Maybe not contour and stuff but just a little bit. How to begin? Where can I learn more about makeup? I want to begin after the summer because I've got acne and makeup is not good for acne. :)

YouTube and pinterest are great ways to look at tutorials. since you're just starting out I'd go with a BB cream, a little powder, mascara, lipgloss. Spf is really important too. even at your age. maybe go to a beauty store, sephora, Dillard's, Clinique counter and see about a little makeover.

I started at 11 yeah bc I'm ugly it's best to start with just a little mascara then work with some nude eyes shadow and when your ready for foundation bare minerals is all natural, lasts a while, and looks amazing plus for acne prone skin (which I have too) it doesn't make me break out bc I put lotion on too

Youtube has many great tutorials. You can always start with mascara a little blush and lip gloss (:

I agree YouTube and Pinterest are great places to get inspired and learn. I started wearing makeup around 15, I started wearing mascara, and bottom liner (that's a classic high school and middle school makeup mistake) lol I would use some powder, and a pink lip gloss. My mom wouldn't let me use stuff like foundation or concealer. But with so much beauty tutorials out there I'm sure you'll learn quick and in time for back to school! :) and since you say you have acne and don't want to mess with it, I suggest looking into some products to help clear it up, and try practicing stuff with your eyes, like learning how to do liner, trying out mascaras, maybe some shadows. Good luck though :) practice makes perfect!

Hi Anna,
There are a lot of good recommendations to start of. I have acne as well and bare minerals original foundation have always been a hit with my skin. It's lightweight and contains only five ingredients I believe. They also have a compact version called ready foundation which I love as well. I've currently just switched to this one after using the original for 12 years!
I also recommend a mascara, eyebrow product (if you need it), and a lip color. I recommend Anastasia Beverly Hills lip gloss. It's gloss but it's like a lipstick because it's very pigmented.
Blush can never hurt either! It brings a lively look to your face :)
Last but not least, for Bri, you are not ugly you're beautiful!!

Hi Anna ,
I agree that youtube, pinterest and instagram have tutorials to help (:
I recommend using a bb cream when I started out with makeup I used maybalines bb cream which is around $7 , try some blush, mascara & powder& lip gloss / lipstick (:... ( nyx has some nice blushes for $2-4 to start off with ). sephora is kinda of pricey so I recomend buying drugstore makeup and seeing how you like it , if you think makeup will be your thing and you love it then I'd recommend purchasing better products but when I started I bought drugstore makeup and once I liked it and everything I bought more products which were more expensive 😭😊
