Use a bb cream instead of a full coverage foundation.

I don't see any imperfections on camera honestly - and it's probably impossible to contour without looking cakey because you follow tutorials on YouTube that only look cakey after being applied - the thing you have to realize about photos on Instagram and most tutorials on YouTube is that they have to cake on those products so that you can't see their skin under the makeup - it looks very unnatural in person (as you are quickly finding out) but looks great on camera and in photos - so if I were you I honestly would not worry about your "imperfections" because they really look like nothing to me personally - you look beautiful and the only thing I can really see in the photo is some redness which you can cover with a green primer to color correct under your foundation - also to prevent the cakey look - just use less product - you shouldn't use more than a pea sized amount of foundation for your whole face and then make sure you blend it out until you can see your skin peaking through - that's how I blend out my full coverage foundations to look more natural - and I hate to say it but if you want to look natural then you won't have flawless complexion like you see online - natural by definition is not perfect but it's beautiful - so embrace your imperfections and try to invest in more skincare than makeup then you can get rid of those imperfections without makeup - but just so we are clear what exactly are your issues with your skin? If we know what the problem is then we can better make suggestions to help with skincare or makeup.

Not really seeing it. I don't see anything wrong with your face at all..
Also don't forget that girls photoshop the shiz out of their faces when taking photos so don't take every photo like it's real. Your skin look fine to me.. You're being very harsh on yourself.

Your face looks great with and without makeup. don't be hard on yourself. and never compare yourself to photos of other people, especially since most of them have filters or are altered.

And just as a tip, if cakeyness is an issue for you, I suggest you spray a setting spray over your makeup (I like the nyx matte and dewy setting sprays, and the ud all nighter but its pricy). itll make your makeup last and take away the cake lol.

Agree with the girls about you not having imperfections, also you naturally have thick brows, if you want to fill them in use brow powder or matte eyeshadow in the same colour as your brows, it would make them look more natural if you use powder.

Wayne Goss just made a post on Instagram that very heavily applies here. I highly suggest anyone who stops by this thread checks it out.
