Hi ladies! So, prom is next week and my skin is acting all crazy (ill include pictures) & I'm really getting worried because I don't want my skin to look all bumpy and nasty under my makeup. I was wondering if any of you could give me any tips on how to reduce the size of the pimples or get them to go away. I'm in panic mode. ))):

What do use bow to wash your face?
To my either the Glam Glow Super Mud or the Peter Thomas Roth irish moor mud, are great for spot treatments. For me they clean out my acne and get it to a whitehead. otherwise if you have an Ulta near you, try to see if you can get in for a specific area cleaning. Hopefully that helps you! Have a fun prom!!

The most rapid results you can get in a week would be to visit a spa/Aesthetician and get a light peel specifically designed for your skin...targeting acne. Ask them about aftercare. Downtime for light peels is about 3 days. You can find a place using Yelp and phone to talk to the Estie..letting them know you have prom and need minimal downtime. Don't let the word peel frighten you...a pro can do a light and effective treatment quickly..and I'd get on that right away to give you maximum time to get those results with a few days for skin to restore itself. You want to get it done by Monday night..no later. Ideally, today or tomorrow would be perfect. You simply cannot replicate professional results in this short time frame and they will get you looking your best with realistic expectations.

The Estie may decide a facial with extractions and spot treatments is what you need. I'd leave this to the Pros for maximum results in the shortest amount of time.

What Rozberry said ^ that's what I was trying to say about Ulta.

Yes^^^^^ totally agree with Rozberry! I would do it asap, because you'll probably be a little red for a couple of days.

I recommend Murad's Clarifying Mask, Clarifying Cleanser, Origins Checks and Balances, Mario Badescu, Boscia, and Philosophy Clear Days Ahead. But none of those products are going to get rid of acne overnight but I recommend getting into a skin care routine (if you don't already). I also highly recommend a Clarisonic Mia; going on 4 years with mine and I will never not have one. It completely transformed my skin and is worth every penny.

Put toothpaste on it

I agree with Rozberry but if that isn't an option, try to use ice on it to reduce the swelling and dab hydrogen peroxide on it to take away the redness. You could also try a warm. Compress over it in order to bring it to head so you can pop it

DO NOT USE TOOTHPASTE! I REPEAT, DO NOT USE! It is designed for your teeth, not your skin. I burned my skin one time from trying it and know several others on here who have done the same. I don't understand why people recommend using chemicals that are not meant for your skin; why not just by acne products that are specifically made to target acne?

Same thing goes for baking soda and lemon... Just don't try it, it is not going to get rid of pimple, trust me...
