I would like to know as much information about this foundation as I can.

1- which skin type is it suited for?
2- what's the coverage pay off?
3- If any of you ladies have this foundation I would love to see before and after photos.
4- is it a natural looking foundation?

Thank you so much! :)

I haven't tried it myself but there are a few reviews on it here in Beautylish that you might find interesting :) And hopefully some of the other beauties have tried it :)

Thanks Sabrina. I read a few reviews on different websites and I get a mixed message because some of the users say it's really good while others dislike it so I'm very confused

Aw that sucks, all the reviews here on Beautylish is pretty positive! But a foundation will never be "one size fits all" its such a personal product! Hopefully you will get some help!

I love that foundation. it's truly one of those product's you'll need to go in and try out for yourself. It's water based and you'll need a water based primer or use it alone. I like the natural radiance finish of it versus trying to build up coverage from this foundation. :)

It has a radiance finish to it and not exactly full coverage but it's very nice. Here is my pic before & After with the foundation. :)

Hmmm, the finish and coverage on the Cover FX foundation really reminds me of the Mehron Pro Celeb HD foundation. Very nice.  :)

You asked about this foundation 2 weeks ago - were the answers provided not sufficient enough?

Thank you so much alma, I wish I could try it out but unfortunately I can't because no places sells it where I live (Australia) they only recently opened a Sephora in Sydney and Melbourne and I'm not living in either. I love the before and after pic you posted, the coverage would be great for me because I just have some fading acne scars to hide!

Thank you Jacqueline but unfortunately I haven't tried the mehron again because where I live... sigh

Diana, like I mentioned I don't have access to any high end makeup, only drug store and the drug store makeup is over priced because there's no high end makeup stores and buying a high end foundation online before you could try it out is risky.

Ok well most places that sell it have a good return policy - if you open the product and try it you can still return it within the return frame - just read the return policy of the place you are trying to purchase from - these places sell coverFX online that I know of: Sephora, dermstore, and beautylish I'm sure there are more you can find they even sell on their own website I think too - otherwise have you tried looking up reviews on YouTube that actually use the product for you to see how it works in person?

Delara your welcome, best of luck and hope you find what your looking for. :)

Here is a Cover FX quiz Beautylish provides to help you figure out which cover fx foundation is best for you. Hope this helps you a bit. :)

I didn't even know BL had that quiz. That's pretty cool. :) What shade do you wear in the Natural Finish Alma?

Thank you Alma! It's not working on the app I'll try it on the website

Diana I'll check the Australian Sephora website and see if they have it, if the do I hope I could return it, usually I can't return something I've used because they can't resell it

It's pretty neat how Beautylish provides that mini quiz Jackie and Delara.

I email Australian Sephora and they don't accept returns for opened products... Just as I thought

Jun 8, 2016

Diana T.

That's interesting because Sephora's website say they accept returns for "gently used" products within 60 days - that sucks that Australia says otherwise - but there are other places that sell that brand you can look into their return policies - I'm surprised because most places let you return stuff even if it's been opened if it's within a certain time frame.

Diana, I'm pretty sure as long as it's from Australia I wouldn't be able to return it if I use it. I've never ever heard of a place here that accept returns even after the product has been used. They can't sell it anymore and that's pretty much why they don't accept it.

Diana where I live there's absolutely no return policy for opened or used products either. I think it really depends on the country.

Alma I did the test and ended up with n35 sigh I'm still not sure I have the right shade but I'm going to take the big leap and buy it, I think this is how I feel > 🙃

@Sabrina, such a shame that we can't return used products!

Jun 8, 2016

Sabrina K.

Well Delara I actually understand the no return policy.
If you buy a product, use it and then return it, it can not be resold, it can not be reused and the store has to throw it out, which is very wasteful. And if customers know that you can always just buy and take back, of cause they will use that opportunity.
I know I can't take anything back so I'm very careful of what I buy, it happens that I buy something I don't like but not very often, and I think that's because I do soooo much research on a product before buying it because once the money is spent there's no getting them back!
