My boyfriend is buying me any makeup that I want as a late birthday present, and I've seen a lot hype around the Ultra Mattes. Are they good products? Are there some colors that are formulated better than others? For reference, I like pinky-nude colors. Thank you so much in advance!

I have Bianca and Midi which are both pinky nudes. I really love them! They apply nicely and last for a while. Def worth it.

I was hesitant when I first read the reviews online, but I recently bought Instigator and omg I love it! It applies on smooth and does last a good while. Definitely would recommend trying it out!

I only tried one colourpop product and it's the Lax lippy I feel like it's not good at all. It dries out on my lips and fades in the middle.

Rachel, everyone has a love/hate relationship with ColourPop. I bit the bullet and ordered 3 colors: Privacy Please, Lumière 2, Donut.
I made posts about all of these. Donut, the one I was super excited about, and loved the way it looked, flaked after 20 minutes of wearing it. Super disappointed. I even contacted customer service about it in the hopes that maybe I got a defective one as they don't accept refunds unless the product was delivered damaged. After sending them the pictures I had of myself wearing it as well as the batch number I was told there was nothing they could do and to follow the steps of exfoliating and hydrating my lips which I do normally anyway. I'm still trying to find a way to make that color work.
Privacy please is amazing. Lasts all day on me, only becoming drying towards the end, and it left a nice stain.
Lumière 2 is a little darker than I thought/wanted, but lovely nonetheless.

I read your review on those on here to that's why I was curious to see if everyone had a crappy experience with them, Jackie. One of the colors I wanted is Donut so now I'm nervous 😅

I want it to work so badly! I even paired it with my too faced melted coral lipstick and it just never fully set. I also tried to just use the Sephora nude lip liner all over my lips and then put donut over it and it was still very patchy. 😕

Colourpop has amazing products. The eyeshadows they have are extremely pigmented and blend easily and are just beautiful. Their Lippie stix, matte & satin liquid lipsticks are amazing, they extremely opaque, although I do find that with the liquid lipsticks you should probably exfoliate before because they do show the fine lines on your lips, but overall it's a great brand.

I hated my colorpop shadows. They broke and they weren't pigmented! Idk why mine werent pigmented everyone seems to love them. The lippie stix are really nice. They last long and smell great. The ultra matte lips I don't really like. They don't last very long on me and dry out my lips.

I have about less than 10? Ultra matte liquid lipsticks, I have mostly mauves, and one purple and dark red shade. I have about 5 Lippie Sticks a brown one, purple shades, red and mauves. In my last order I got three shadows and the eyebrow pencil. The I got amaze, cricket and central perk. They are like wet shadows and do crumble but they are beautiful shadows. Just a little hard to work with. Just do your research and look up swatches, I've liked everything I've ordered from there except two products which were way to dark or light for my liking. But if end up buying some of the liquid lipsticks always shake it up before use so it can mix up good and you get the right shade and texture. :) if you want any swatches let me know! :)
